May 9th & May 10th: A Buddhist View of Death and Dying workshop at the Brattleboro Shambhala Group in Brattleboro. Information: 802-257-1984.
May 6, 13, 20, 27, Tuesdays, 12:15 - 12:45 pm. Quiet sitting at Hospice Office. Information: 257-0775.
May 10, Saturday, 10 am -12 noon. Second Saturdays: Making Prayer-Remembrance-Message Flags. (We will use cloth squares to create simple flags to take home and to hang at the Memorial Garden for the Memorial Planting Service) Come socialize over an art activity with other individuals and families who have experienced the death of a loved one. Materials provided but you may want to bring copies of your loved one’s picture or handwriting. For adults and children. Facilitated by Elizabeth Ungerleider and Elizabeth Pittman. Refreshments served. Drop-ins welcomed—registration not required.

May 21, Wednesday, 5:30 – 7 pm. Volunteer Inservice: Introduction to Reiki. More details in the newsletter.

The two Monday evening bereavement support groups— Healing Through Writing, facilitated by Muriel Winter Wolf, and the General Bereavement Support Group, facilitated by Cheryl Richards—will both be ending in May. Call Melissa or Elizabeth for start dates of the next series of these support groups.
Also coming this summer: June 6-8 Camp Knock Knock, a weekend camp for families with children and/or teens who have experienced the death of a loved one.
